I use my gear hard. I run ultras, bikepack solo, camp in wild places, and believe a good drybag can change your life. Everything reviewed here has been tested in real conditions — rain, heat, mud, misadventures — and sometimes gifted by brands I align with. I’ll always be upfront about that.

Filtering on the trail not only gives you independence while on remote landscapes, but it also reduces your footprint within the landscape. Having a filter during my Annapurna Circuit Trail allowed me to access a diversity of water points along the villages and mountains without the stress of running out. The less bottles we consume, the less plastic we leave behind!
