Running with purpose. Picking up plastic. Making noise.

What started as a solo run with a trash bag has grown into cleanups, community, and conversations about how we treat the places we move through. Join us!

Group of people outdoors after a cleanup, holding trash bags and litter pickers, smiling and posing for the photo, with trees and a blue sky in the background.

I started picking up rubbish while running because I couldn’t ignore it anymore — not the bottles, not the food wrappers, not the weird stuff you can’t unsee.

What began as a solo habit became The Plastic Runner — a way to invite others to slow down, notice, and protect the places we move through. Now I run cleanups, speak at events, and help others start their own plogging journeys — from city paths to jungle trails.

I run monthly plogging events in different places — sometimes on trails, sometimes on beaches, always with good people.

You don’t need to be fast. You just need to care.

Join a cleanup near you 🧹

It adds up when we show up.

This isn’t about perfection — it’s about participation.
Here’s what we’ve collected (literally and collectively) so far:

🗑️ 2,000 kilos of waste removed from natural spaces

🌍 50+ events across 3 countries

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Over 600 volunteers

Every cleanup is a reminder that small actions matter — especially when we do them together.

Proud 2025 Grounds Keeper!

I’m honoured to be part of the Grounds Keepers 2025 cohort — a global program run by Granite Gear supporting trail conservation leaders who walk (and run) the talk.

As part of the cohort, I’ll be continuing my cleanups across remote trails and protected areas while sharing stories about what it really means to care for the places we love.

Seen, featured, and picked up along the way…
